Sayge Intention

There is great power in discovering why you think, feel, and do what you do especially when it manifests itself in thoughts and behaviors that are blocking your peace, happiness, and love for yourself. As you begin to make peace with the past, you’re giving yourself permission to begin receiving all that you want to, now.

Making peace with the past is an intimate reconnection with the parts of yourself that may have been abandoned or have been lost as a result of a demand to fit in, be loved, be proven adequate, or to avoid pain.

This intimate journey is about meeting yourself when your needs or wants went unheard, unnoticed, unacknowledged, or dismissed maybe many, many years ago. Meeting these parts of yourself offers a unique opportunity to make a connection(s) that you’re likely striving to meet now in your life with other things, people, thoughts, and behaviors.

Discovering an issue at the root of its origin and exploring why it began in the first place is a powerful first step to understanding why you’re still holding onto it. Many of our behaviors result in the ways we think about ourselves, others, and the world around us. The way we think is derived from the truths (or beliefs) that we hold about ourselves, others, and the world around us. As we know from what researchers tell us is that between the years womb to the age of approximately seven years of age, we are learning who we are, how to fit in, what’s acceptable, and how to show up in the world. And as we also know, those years are guided much by parents or guardians. Therefore, much of who we are, is the bi-product of someone else’s way of thinking, acting, doing, being. Not so much of our own. Until you decide it so. Maybe that’s today?

This reunion invites you to begin building a loving and trusting relationship with yourself now, maybe for the first time. A relationship that is honored, always feels safe, and is a joy to be in every day of your life. This is what it feels like to be the real hero of your own story.

Many wander their entire life feeling unsupported, unloved, never enough, fear of success or failure, rejected, and different no matter how much or little they have (tangible) or how hard they work for it. And at the root of doing more, being more, speaking more, hiding more, avoiding more is a desire/need unmet. In actuality this behavior is a deep desire/need to ‘feel more.’ Feel more loved, seen, heard, valued, and accepted.

Once one is able to witness the reasons why they are thinking what they are thinking and doing what they are doing, there is a real sense hope that is regenerated within oneself with a hyper-focus on what choice(s) one might need to make next in order to support the change one wants in life. There is so much power in that choice and each time a decision is made in pursuit of betterment, a spark of hope is ignited for the next one. Sooner or later, the old and outdated way of thinking and doing is replaced with new and positive ones.
